I did not believe much of the story when it centered around Yasmin’s mother. Yes, she would leave her husband, after a brutal fight about their son, but, no she would not have settled so well into Harriet’s world. I also never believed Yasmin’s relationship with Pepperdine. Too convenient. I did think Ali was very clever in revealing her politics by having them voiced at a cocktail party or by a psychiatrist. I enjoyed the scenes with Sandor, but again did not think Joe would have found the answers to his addiction so easily .
