Ive recently gotten curious about making some of my own clothes and i gotta say this book is perfect for someone like me who doesnt know much except for watching some you tube videos. The pictures are actually helpful, the instructions are simple but detailed enough to help me figure out the few things i was looking for. This is a wonderful book that i have a feeling will get lots of use as i slowly build my confidence and work my way through each bit. It is NOT a “how to make THIS shirt” but a guidebook on different seams, stitches, pockets, button holes, darning and so froth that i actually feel is more helpful. It teaches you A skill and then you can apply it to your projects as needed. So far im very impressed and i cant wait to work my way through all the bits she has in here!! :) i dont regret spending any money on this. I think it will prove itself well worth the investment as i go.
